What you need to know: 1) Representation before the veterans court is possible at NO COST to the veteran under the Equal Access to Justice Act.  This fee does not come from any amount you might be paid by the VA.  2) The credentials and experience of the attorney a veteran chooses should be carefully weighed before making a decision on representation.    

I have practiced before the Veterans Court for more than 15 years and have been involved in several thousand VA cases.  My experience in military and medical matters is extensive, having retired from the U.S. Air Force after nearly 33 years as a medic with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E9).  While on active duty I routinely dealt with Medical Evaluation Board and fitness for duty matters.  Just prior to my retirement I entered law school and was admitted into practice in 1995.  My military and medical experience uniquely prepared me for practice in this area of law and I welcome the opportunity to use my experience to win an appeal for the other veterans I have the privilege to serve and represent.
